Rifleman

For it is the Rifleman with his willingness to stay int he fight, no matter the cost, that makes up the backbone of the Legion army.

The Rifleman is the core unit of the Legion armed forces. While not all Legion infantry use the rifle as their primary weapon enough do that the generic term has taken to be used for any non-commissioned infantry soldier.

Riflemen are broken into squads of between 5 and 8 depending on the needs of each group. Keeping fire squads small leads to a more efficient usage of firepower and allows the units to move quickly and react to the enemy.
