Aethersteel is a Skimrish style tabletop miniatures warfare game produced by O2 Games. It uses 28mm scale models of inviidual units to represent soldiers on the battlefield. These units are then contolled by the player as they advanced toward an objective.

Unit Cards Aethersteel uses unit cards that represent a collection of similar models into a single fighting force. These units can be made of a single model or multiple models. The units card functions as both a counter to indicate if the unit has been activated yet or not as well as a location for the placement and interaction of Aeon Cards. Each unit card contains that models stats, weapons, and special abilities as wel as the units Batle value per unit and force make up rules

Aeon Cards Each player has their own Aeon card which is paired with their army. These decks offer the player the ability to cast special spells and effects onto the battlefield. These can be helpful to their units, harmful to opponents units, or simply provide additional mobility. Each Aeon card is cast through the armies commander unit, which offers commander units a lot of additional offencive power but also makes these units higher priority targets for the opponent.
