The Warlord is the highest leader of each tribe of the Legion. The Warlord can be male or female and can come from any walk of Legion military life.

The Warlord is chosen from inside their tribe through a Melee event. A free-for-all event similar to the Grand Melee used to determine the High Warlord. In each tribes local melee each city is permitted a certain number of entries based on the size of the city. These individuals can fight as individuals or as a group all throwing in their lot behind one soldier.

Despite the Warlords name, they are not just a military leader and there have been instances of Warlords who did not in fact lead any military forces or campaigns in their tenure. They are however very devout individuals, loyal to Krath above all others.

Because of their extreme loyalty to their Aeon, Krath has bestowed upon them powers that they can call upon in times of need. Allowing the God of War to channel through them as a conduit to the battlefield. Meaning that you not only have one of the most fearsome warriors on the field, but ones who have a deity channeling power through them.
