Aeon Card: Divine Armor
The Impact was devastating, the force of a god crushing the bugs beneath their feet. Man and machine were cast aside like so much debris. The ground buckled under the force and seemed to heave its death sigh. Yet even as they watched, the smoke began to clear, the fires dying out. A lone figure stood erect among the destruction. His armor showing the touch of creation itself. The brand of Skyrus glowing softly and the marks of power leaking from each joint. He stood, unharmed, and with a helmeted gaze stared straight ahead. Even without seeing his eyes one could feel the intent behind the visor. Death.
Skyrus is not an Aeon to meddle with. She is as vicious as she is beautiful, as brilliant as she is ambitious. To be in her good graces is a fountain of blessings. But to be on her bad side….well, don’t be on her bad side.
A card like divine armor demonstrates Skyrus’ fondness of her chosen people. It offers protection to those in need, but can provide a serious bonus to those who put in the extra effort. Using the Breakthrough series of cards (Breakthrough: Armor and Breakthrough: Locomotion) in addition to any other cards allows you to stack a pretty high armor count. Additionally, this card can be played an a friendly allied unit allowing you to take advantage of your ally’s cards as well. The Legion card Divine Step pairs nicely with this.
