Legion soldiers use a wide range of weapons and different battle tactics. However one of the most fearsome can be a dual sword blademaster. When surrounded and against a more numerous opponent they have been known to leap into the thickest of the enemy with a whirlwind of steel. Swinging their blades in deadly arcs, slicing their way through. If you ever find yourself fighting a Legion blademaster, keep your distance.

A card like Blade Storm serves as a reminder of the importance of unit positioning. When placing your commander into range with more numerous opponent, Blade Storm can help clear a large number of models in a short time. The Closeburst 2” means your commander does not even have to be in direct melee contact when the card is used. This allows you to get a little bit longer reach, or to engage more than 1 enemy unit at a time. Use it either offensively or defensively as needed.

Using this card with Bloodlust allows you to reuse the ability a second time, and adding Death Dealer into the mix can make for a deadly Commander vs. Commander battle.
